The mission of IWSLAW is to promote equality, justice, and ethical standards in sports while empowering women through legal education, advocacy, and international cooperation. The Association works to strengthen women's representation and leadership in the global sports community.

Membership is open to all women interested in sports, law, and ethics — including athletes, lawyers, researchers, and professionals in related fields. Members gain access to international networking, training, and participation in IWSLAW's projects and events.

IWSLAW provides educational workshops, webinars, and legal consultations focused on sports law, ethics, and women's rights. The Association also supports research, publications, and collaborations with international universities and organizations.

The Association advocates for the rights of Iranian and Persian-speaking women athletes by providing legal guidance, promoting fair treatment in competitions, and fostering connections with international legal and sports institutions.

IWSLAW was established in 2023 in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, as a non-governmental, independent, and non-profit organization. It operates globally with a focus on empowering women in sports and advancing sports law education.
